We stayed in the hostel for 2 days. The best part has to be the rooms. They are really good and comfortable. The hostel has got beers too at cheap rates. You can get breakfast too for 4 euros which is cheap. It is centrally located and around 30 min walk to charles bridge or 15-20 by public transport. I would definitely recommend the hostel to everyone .
Hostel was located just a short walk away from city centre or a 2 min tram which picks you up right outside the hostel, hostel was very comfortable and homely, you shoukd know that hostel is for both backpackers and families. Staff were fine, hostel rooms were cool and beds were comfortable. Hostel was very cheap and cheerful. The hostel had its own kitchen but no bar, you could however buy deinks at the front desk, altough there are many very cheap offsales in the area
Lovely hostel feels really authentic and fun nice atmosphere. Only thing is that the room we stayed in had girls on the top floor which was more like an attic that you couldn't stand up straight in and you do have to get metros to get to city centre but it's great would definitely reccomend/stay there again!
Went to stay at this beautiful hostel in March. The rooms were lovely and the staff extremely helpful. Would recommend it to anyone but never again a school. It was excitingly close to town and for students that means it's tempting to sneak away at night. With friends I wouldn't mind going here again!! Many rooms even have separate bathrooms and also the hostel was clean with a nice breakfast and that's not something you could say for most hostels..!
After a few nights in noisy hostels, we discovered Artharmony, a rare gem. Its located through a gate in a quiet courtyard, far enough back from the main road to be peaceful and quiet, but close enough to get everywhere easily. A few minutes walk away is Karlovo Namesti metro station. There are plenty of shops in walking distance.
When we arrived we were given a warm welcome and immediately felt at home. It is so sweetly and charmingly decorated, with vines, stones and natural wood. There is a sweet little kitchenette where we could make tea adjoining the common room, which had a cosy table and seats which brought the guests together.
Everything is very clean.
The decor is very creative and every room has its own theme, down to the smallest detail. There is a forest room with a natural wood loft and little frogs, birds and mushrooms, a bamboo room, a sunflower room...just wait and see what you will discover!
Artharmony lives up to its name as a beautiful and inspiring place to stay. Not only was it cheaper than some of the other hostels we stayed in, it was more comfortable, friendly and beautiful too. Definately the best European hostel Ive stayed in. Highly recommended.
Amazing place, the staff is really helpful, specially Petr! He is an amazing guy really willing to help in any way, providing tips, directions, really kind. The place is really nice, it has its own kitchen and the supermaket is really close. I had a great time! I would return here with no doubts
Great hostel with friendly helpful staff. Rooms were cool and very different to what you usually get in European Hostels, which was a nice change. Bathrooms and the Hostel rooms were very clean and the lockers next to the rooms were handy if you are travelling with valuables. Seemed a little quiet as far as backpacker atmosphere goes, but i was only staying one night so it was hard to really tell. Overall i would recommend highly.
Funky hostel with interesting dorms and showers. A bit lacking of a cohesive common area so meeting people was difficult. Easy enough walk to central Prague and the nightlife. Wasn't bad, but I would check out a different hostel next time.
Liked: I really liked that I stayed in a room that had three beds in it although I had made a reservation for a 10-bed dorm. The atmosphere was wonderful--I really liked the decorations and loads of information that was at my disposal.
Disliked: Should be a warning that the reception is on the third floor for disabled people or travelers with huge suitcases
Liked: The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The atmosphere is nice and calm, the rooms are really well organize and there is not to much beds in each one. I really recommande this place!
Disliked: I expected more students and there were also families and older people, so if you want to be party with other youn people, maybe it is not the best place, but still I met very nice people there!
